Have you ever harbored any grand illusions about traditional medicines? Like whether they can be used to treat AIDS. The World Bank estimates that there are 25 million Africans, who are suffering from HIV. With the rising cost of drugs and disputes between government and pharmaceutical companies, many are now seriously considering using traditional medicines. I find it absurd that people are moving to traditional medicines for a disease that is really new and for which no medicine is available to date.
